These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Core Labs website and your purchase of products from us. Please read them carefully. By accessing the site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and a qualified researcher, institution, or authorised representative to purchase from Core Labs. By placing an order you confirm that you meet these requirements and that any products purchased will be handled only by appropriately trained and licensed personnel.
2. Research use only
Our products are reference materials and research chemicals supplied solely for in-vitro laboratory research and analytical purposes. They are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, agricultural products, or household chemicals, and must not be:
- introduced into the body of any human or animal;
- used in any diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical setting;
- resold or relabelled for human or veterinary consumption.
You assume full responsibility for the safe handling, storage, use, and disposal of all products in accordance with applicable laws and good laboratory practice.
3. Orders & acceptance
An order placed through the site is an offer to purchase. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We may decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including where we suspect the products may be intended for prohibited use. A contract is formed only when we dispatch the goods.
4. Pricing & payment
Prices are listed in the currency based on your geolocation and shown at checkout - this may change without notice. We make every effort to ensure pricing is accurate, but errors may occur; where a price is incorrect we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid. Payment must be received in full before dispatch.
5. Shipping & delivery
We dispatch from regional warehouses and aim to ship orders placed before the daily cut-off on the same business day. Delivery estimates are indicative only and we are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events beyond our control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. All orders require signature on delivery - without exception.
6. Returns & refunds
Due to the nature of research materials, we cannot accept returns of products once payment has been made. All orders are final and cancellations, returns and refunds are not available. If an item arrives damaged, incorrect or lost, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion. Please see our Refund Policy for full details.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Core Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use or misuse of our products or this site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
By using the site, you agree to indemnify Core Labs and their officers, employees and agents from any claim, expense, loss or liability arising out of:
- Your handling, possession, use or disposal of any product;
- Your breach of Terms or of any representation or warranty made under them;
- Any Violation by you of any applicable law or regulation;
- Any third-party claims arising from any resale, redistribution or supply of product.

All content on this site - including text, graphics, logos, and product data - is owned by or licensed to Core Labs and may not be reproduced without our written permission.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Core Labs is established. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of choice by Core Labs.
